The electric car is here to claim its time in the spotlight and seeing the 2013 cars coming out it is easy to see that there is going to be a plethora of hybrids and plug-in fully electric cars. With companies like Toyota continuing to sell the Prius and now labeling the Prius line that includes a larger capacity Prius that has the same internal cargo space as a small SUV or the plug-in hybrid Prius; we will see companies like Hyundai who are introducing their first hybrid drive vehicle with Hyundai’s industry leading warranty. Hyundai will warranty the battery for the life of the car. This type of warranty will help drive more buyers to hybrid vehicles that were skeptical about the reliability issues and wear and tear costs with the longevity of the vehicle. So look for more electric powered cars to come onto the scene for 2013.
