THE booming HOME REMODELING OF THE ISLANDERS

(Salinas, Puerto Rico) – Gustavo Schödlbauer, manager of the Islanders of Puerto Rico,     announced today that renovation and reconstruction work in the Stadium Juan Ramon Loubriel Municipal de Bayamón have begun and are in a very advanced stage. The Estadio Juan Ramón Loubriel will install the Islanders call home when start the new football season A-League of the United Soccer League, where Puerto Rico debut as an expansion team.

“I stood in the Loubriel everything related to baseball (the Loubriel was the home of the     Bayamón Cowboys baseball team of the League of Professional Baseball Puerto Rico), and leveled the ground to the required standards play football, as in baseball, the elevation varies, “said the manager of the eleventh boricua.

The Puerto Rico Islanders     begin their participation in the A-League on April 17 when they receive     visit the Toronto Lynx in Bayamon. This will be the first of 14     matches to be held at the Estadio Juan Ramon Loubriel.

(Salinas,     Puerto Rico) – Ended with optimism and enthusiasm today (on Friday)     the try-outs of the Islanders of Puerto     Rico, the new football team will participate in the “A-League of United     Soccer League “the United States and Canada.

The directors of the eleventh     evaluated about 70 players who participated in the try-outs, most of     these being Puerto Rican.

“The first thing we did     when the try-outs begin on Monday (January 19), was guiding     participants about our organization and as such rules     USL and the A-League, “said Gustavo Schödlbauer, manager of     Islanders.

According Schödlbauer, the     Participants were divided into teams of 11 players who were     type practices evaluated in the party. “The reason for this division was to     see how each player played in a set, so we     easier to evaluate their skills, so     individual and group, “said sporting director.

“So far, we have     seen about 60 players from Latin America, and between about 70 to 80 players     United States and Puerto Rico. In addition, we have     signed to six veterans of Latin America, four from Argentina and two     Brazil, which will reach the island on February 7, “said Schödlbauer.

Although the manager did not want forward names of Puerto Rican players who are considering seriously to be part of the Islanders, if said players  natives have much talent, and talent within that there is much enthusiasm to learn and do things right.

When asked if the style Puerto Rican gambling is very different from European style Schödlbauer noted that Puerto Ricans have not defined a style, but employs many of the fundamentals of football in Latin America, where uses the touch of the ball and play together, unlike the style dependent U.S. passes through the air and highlights the performance individual.

“After completion of the try-outs, Team managers will meet to determine who will be part the set. By February 17 we will have a campus, then move to a 15-game season, possibly in the Olympic Hostel Salinas, to prepare the eleventh for the tournament, “said the director sportsmanship.

Schödlbauer announced that the     season scheduled to begin on April 17, will consist of 28     games, 14 in Puerto Rico, and the remaining 14 in the U.S. and     Canada.

I want to thank you for the Opportunity You have extended your club to play for. After seeing the pictures of the stadium on the site, only one dog Excitement feel. I played for your are for 3 years and would love to move on with my career in Another Country, unfortunatly, I will not be Able to at this Time. I am currently not match fit, due to Some family issues here in the states, Which Have taken me away from the game for Some Time. It Would not be fair to you, the other players or myself to show up at tryouts. I Would howeve, like for you to keep me in mind in the future as my career is not over and Would still love The Opportunity to play for your club. Thank you again.
